Premium Vermicompost Worm Castings - Organic Lightly Amended
Premium Vermicompost Worm Castings - Organic Lightly Amended
An all natural plant fertiliser, our vermicompost/worm Castings is produced from a variety of clean, organic inputs, sourced locally, from independent businesses. Including woodchip, garden waste, woodshavings, and our own waste that we produce in our gardens here at Eastern Worm Farm.
The raw materials are combined and precomposted, before being aged in a 'JSB' Johnson-Su Bioreactor for 8-12 months. At this stage, the material is now largely composted and teeming with microbial life and fungi. Here we amend, and feed to our never tiring herd of Tiger Worms, who enhance the microbial activity even further.
Contains ZERO food waste, pesticides, or product produced via commercial agriculture, the aim being to produce a clean end product free from any unwanted pesticides or chemicals. By producing our Vermicompost over a time period of 12+ months, we allow plenty of time for fungal growth and the natural composting cycle to take place.
Unlike many worm casts on the market, we lightly amend ours to ensure a complete, well rounded product that will give your plants a helping hand, at any stage of growth.
Amended with the following:
- Rock Dust
- Diastic Malt Barley Powder
- Neem Meal
- Seaweed Meal
- Gypsum
- Alfafa

I had previously been buying Wiggley worm or Elixir worm castings and found them to be very moist and practically looked black and had so many plastic bits throughout the bag along with there being big solid clumps that wouldn't break down properly. But I then decided to do a bit homework and found a company that's British called the Eastern worm farm who take they're time ro make quality castings that take anywhere from 8-12 months to make instead of the 14 day castings that Elixir and wiggley worm churn out. Don't get me wrong the Eastern worm farm castings are more expensive but you don't need to use anywhere near the amount you would use if it was Elixir or Wiggley worm 14 day castings. Since I started to use the Eastern worm farms castings I have noticed a major improvement to my plants health, I will 100% be sticking to the more expensive Eastern worm farms castings as they have a load more beneficial insects and is full of everything your plants needs
